Battery Upgrade for Nissan e-NV200

Nissan has given its e-NV200 electric van a range an uplift with the expansion of another 40kWh battery. Nissan has propelled another adaptation of its all-electric e-NV200 van at the Nissan Futures 3.0 occasion in Oslo, Norway. With a redesigned battery, the business vehicle would now be able to boast an official range of 174 miles.

The second version of the jolted NV200 van will give drivers an additional 62 miles, offering 174 miles on a single charge. The additional range comes down to Nissan's new 40kWh battery, offering a 60% range improvement over the first e-NV200 that was introduced in 2013.

In spite of the additional juice it provides, the battery is of the same size as the one in the first e-NV200 van, which means customers won't need to give up load space or haul around additional weight.

The van was a major announcement at Nissan Futures’ event in Norwegian capital Oslo, Europe's Green Capital for 2019. The current year's occasion was called 'The Car and Beyond' and it exhibited what Nissan is putting forth to clients in the all-electric market. The brand new ‘Leaf’ was additionally revealed along with e-NV200.

The new Nissan 7kW home chargers can charge EV vehicles from 0% to 100% in five and a half hours, while the 22kW charger for businesses can charge the e-NV200 and Leaf in only two hours.
